LOW-TOP WALKING BOOTS
Low Top Walking Boots are also known as Short Walkers. These boots usually extend from just the ankle joint to the tips of your toes. They are primarily used as a post operative or post injury device to maintain the foot and ankle at 90 degrees and prevent abnormal pressure on the foot or ankle.
Many doctors use these boots instead of surgical shoes or cast shoes. They are used following severe ankle sprains and forefoot and midfoot injuries and fractures.
Please check with your doctor to determine which low top walking boot is best for your condition.
