The DonJoy Tri-Panel Immobilizer is a three-piece construction immobilizer which allows for easy application to a wide variety of leg sizes. Each panel contains its own sewn-in aluminum stay for rigid support.

The Tri-Panel Immobilizer is a high quality and effective immobilizer post-surgery or post-injury to the knee. After surgery or severe knee injury, mild to moderate pain and edema of the knee occurs. Your doctor may prescribe a knee immobilizer which prevents the knee from bending. These devices are used as an alternative to cast immobilization.

The ACL & PCL cross in the center of the knee (that's why they're called cruciate ligaments -a crucifix is a cross). They control the backward and forward motion of the knee. The ACL in particular restrains excessive forward motion of the knee as well as the inward twisting or rotation of the knee. The ACL is frequently injured in severe twisting injuries of the knee.
