The DonJoy UltraSling Information

The DonJoy UltraSling by Smith and Nephew, moves into a new plane of immobilization with its release of the NEW UltraSling.

This product allows shoulder immobilization to be functional by supporting the arm in a position of neutral rotation, referred to as the plane of the scapula.

The unique sling design features an easy open front panel to allow active motion at the elbow while continuing to maintain gleno-humeral positioning. The DonJoy UltraSling is an improvement over the well established shoulder immobilizer and an addition to the shoulder abduction products.

  • Encourages effective healing by allowing the shoulder and arm to remain in a neutral position.
  • 10 degree abduction pillow allows axillary air exchange to reduce the risk of secondary infections.
